Turn the weekly review into a better work plan
The weekly review is where you step back from today’s schedule and decide what to improve. ServicePro IQ gives you revenue, goal and completed-job reporting from Housecall Pro. Use those views to examine the week fairly, agree on one practical change and check whether last week’s actions happened.

A review needs more than a list of wins and problems
A plumbing team may remember the emergency call that ran late. A cleaning supervisor may remember a difficult access issue. Those details belong in the conversation, but a weekly review needs to connect them with the wider work completed and the decisions the team can influence.
Choose a completed period so everyone is discussing the same work. Ask what went as planned, what changed and which action would make a repeat problem less likely. Avoid turning the meeting into a public defense of every job or a ranking based on unlike assignments.
The Daily Huddle handles immediate coordination. The weekly meeting has a different purpose: look for repeated issues, revisit commitments and adjust how the work is prepared or reviewed.
Bring revenue, goals and job results into one discussion
The Revenue page shows total and year-to-date revenue, a running-total line against the revenue goal, revenue by lead source, the job list and cancellations. The Profit page lists completed jobs with estimator, cost, revenue, profit and profit percentage, plus work order and estimate numbers.
Business Snapshot charts revenue, revenue by job type, estimates given, new customers and cancelled jobs for the period you choose. Goals appear where set, and every chart shows the previous period alongside the current one. Use these measures to frame questions rather than to assume a cause.
Every report can be filtered by employee, date, tag, tag combination and lead source. Keep similar work together when evaluating a result. A technician handling complex replacements should not be judged as though every assignment were a routine service visit.
Use a short agenda with a concrete decision
Before the meeting, select the completed week and verify the filters. Reports default to the current Sunday-to-Saturday week, so change the range if you are reviewing the week just finished. Pick a few jobs that illustrate the question, rather than trying to discuss every record.
- Check the actions agreed at the previous review.
- Look at revenue against the goal.
- Inspect a small set of relevant completed jobs.
- Ask what changed between estimate and delivery.
- Agree on one change, an owner and a review date.
For a made-up example, two electrical jobs each bill $1,000, but one records $300 more in cost. Ask whether the scopes were really comparable before deciding what the team should do differently. The useful outcome may be a better site check or estimate handoff, not a higher target.
Use job profitability reports to prepare the job discussion and keep the meeting anchored to records everyone can investigate.
Keep coaching specific and fair
This routine fits an owner, operations manager and the people responsible for estimating and delivering work. Bring office staff into issues they can help resolve, such as unclear customer instructions. Keep personal or sensitive coaching separate from the wider team conversation.
Recognize a repeatable practice, not just a large invoice. A careful handoff or a well-documented scope change can be worth discussing even when the job total is ordinary. Ask the person involved to explain the action so other staff can apply it where appropriate.
Use team goal tracking to keep monthly goals visible between meetings. Write commitments in your usual management notes and follow up the next week. The report supports the discussion; accountability still depends on someone checking the agreed action.
Prepare access and the reporting period
ServicePro IQ connects directly to Housecall Pro and requires its MAX plan, because that plan provides API keys. An admin creates the key in the Housecall Pro App Store by searching for API and choosing Generate API key. We send a one-time link where you paste it. The link works for seven days, and only the newest link for your business works.
The key is checked when you paste it and stored encrypted. ServicePro IQ reads your Housecall Pro data without changing your account. Your contact tells you when your reports are ready. Staff sign in with Google accounts. Job and revenue figures refresh hourly at 20 minutes past the hour, which matters if a record was corrected just before the meeting.

Frequently asked questions
Can I filter a review by employee?
Yes. All reports support employee filtering. Compare assignments and job conditions before treating a difference as a performance issue, and confirm that the underlying records are complete.
Should the review use the current week?
Use the period that matches the question. For a review of completed weekly work, explicitly select that completed week. Reports otherwise open on the current week, from Sunday to Saturday.
How is a weekly review different from a daily huddle?
A daily huddle coordinates immediate work and preparation. A weekly review gives you space to investigate repeated patterns, discuss comparable completed jobs and check whether agreed process changes were carried out.
